Innovative Lawyers Global Summit
There has never been a more important moment for the global legal profession to raise its head above the social and business parapets. With 40 countries going to the polls, many feel that democracy is under threat. Generative AI presents a regulatory challenge worldwide and for many white-collar jobs and businesses, it is an existential threat that requires cross-border collaboration and standards. Geopolitical strife continues, with war grinding in the Ukraine and Gaza. Against this backdrop, the rule of law has never been more important. And implicitly, the role of influential lawyers in ensuring stability and balance.
The summit's interactive sessions are a unique opportunity for legal leaders working in-house and private practice to discuss and help shape, not only their own response but, the response of the legal industry to these challenges. Sessions will explore how law firms and in-house counsel can uphold the rule of law and go beyond expectations to be a force for objective public debate around critical issues. They will explore the evolving expectations of legal leaders from their young lawyers, their stakeholders and how they can display ‘relentless enthusiasm’ in their roles.
